There are 4 PCs available for use by members of North Yorkshire Libraries.
Printing facilities (A3 and A4, Colour and B&W – charged by the page) are available from all machines. One PC has an A4 ﬂatbed document scanner attached.

- Microsoft Oﬃce Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Ancestry – Family History Search
- Simple photo editing software
- Colour and B&W Printing

Note that no personal ﬁles are retained on the computer. Any ﬁles generated by a user are automatically deleted at the end of their session. The user can use writeable CDs/DVDs or USB memory sticks if they wish to retain a copy of their ﬁles before deletion.
Use of computers is free for the ﬁrst 30 minutes and then there is is an ongoing charge for additional time. Reduced cost subscriptions are available for regular users.
